Working with emotions

Emotional work is not easy, especially in a world where there is a huge expectation and norm to keep moving and thriving in your busy life to where we don't hold space for our emotions. Sometimes we even hold shame for what we feel.

To work with your emotions, it is important to search silence. In the external world you will not find the solution to your internal problems, however with yourself you always can! Your external world may reflect internal conflict but if you are disconnected from your emotions, that too will be hard to reconize. 

So take the time to be with yourself. You ask others to love you but do you love yourself? Hold space for yourself? Listen to your needs, wants and passions? If you don't hear yourself, how can you expect others to do the same?
